Visual Arts for Children with Trevor

This is a class designed to nurture creativity for children in the 8 to 16 age group.
Trevor, a visual artist in mixed media, welcomes your child into a carefully structured, flexible program providing personal tuition with an emphasis on ideas and imagination.

Learn to speak Mandarin (conversational Mandarin) with Mary
Wednesdays: 11 Oct - 13 Dec, 7.00 - 8.00pm

Mary Jing is an experienced and qualifies Mandarin tutor. Here is a unique opportunity to learn to speak and understand Mandarin. This will be a small group primarily for beginners and is also suitable for students who may be studying Mandarin at school.

Women's Self-defence Class with Mike
Mondays: 7.30 - 8.30pm
This class will not run this term. A revamped course may be offered in Term 1 2018. Stay tuned.
Principally designed to teach strategic skills to protect against attack, be it physically or psychological. The classes take principles from the martial arts and covers standard striking and evasion techniques specifically designed for the female strengths of balance and base leverage and combines this knowledge with strategic targeting areas. The training will benefit base fitness levels.
On the emotional and mental side, we cover what to do if attacked, legal rights and responsibilities, effective verbal and postural protection.
All classes are conducted by a fully qualified instructor with many years of instruction and training as well as many years in the security industry.
